Thank you for considering one of our dogs to be your new family member! In order to be considered to adopt one of our rescue dogs and/or be scheduled for a meet & greet, we do require a completed and approved adoption application on file.

Adoption Process

1. Complete and submit an adoption application

2. Landlord will be contacted (if applicable) to verify that pets are allowed and there are no breed/size restrictions that would be an issue for the dog you are applying to adopt

3. Both references listed will be contacted

4. Vet will be called (if applicable) to make sure all current pets are up to date on vaccines (rabies & Distemper/parvo) and Heartworm prevention 

5. A home visit/meet & greet will be scheduled so you can meet the dog you are applying to adopt and we can determine if the dog gets along with your other pets and is suitable for your home/lifestyle

6. Adoption will be finalized with signing of adoption contract and payment of adoption fee.

This entire process can take as little as a few hours or up to several weeks depending on how quickly we are able to get in touch with everyone we need to contact and how quickly we can have a home visit scheduled.  Please be patient as all applications are screened by volunteers in their personal time and it's our goal to ensure a good fit for you, your family and our dogs so that the adoption will be permanent and last a lifetime.
